PRP Consulting, LLC was created by our CEO & Literacy Lead,
Mrs. Germaine Tarver.
PRP Consulting is a company born of the notion that ALL STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE DAILY OPPORTUNITIES TO WRITE! With our deep knowledge of Literacy and Writing Instruction, we can help you empower your student writers with the knowledge and resources needed to make their writing abilities flourish! Our transformative strategies can rejuvenate writing instruction in your school and increase your students’ love for writing and your teachers’ love for teaching it!
We believe ALL students are writers and should have quality writing instruction that moves them toward independence daily. We have 25 years of experience in the field of education and all 25 years have been focused on the strategies, structures and mindsets that make instruction highly effective.

Through our success as Educators and Administrators, we have analyzed volumes of data and students’ writings. We have observed instruction in numerous classrooms. This experience has led to keen insights into identifying trends in writing instruction and their underlying causes.
With this knowledge, we have consistently experienced double-digit improvement in Benchmark & State Standardized English Language Arts Testing Scores, as well as having received above average satisfactory ratings for our Professional Development sessions in multiple urban and suburban school districts.

At PRP Consulting, we understand your situation. We are educators, too! We feel the urgency to make strides while remedying learning loss during any school year. It gives children the tools to celebrate what they love about their world and the mechanisms to articulate what must be changed within it. We understand that the ability to write well allows students to grow into exceptional, independent writers.
